i have fitted my new dials from a 1994 with a rev guage, also i now have a petrol light. when i turn the car on the petrol light comes on but then it turns off when it goes past the red markers, this is fine.
At the moment i am below the top of the red marker but the light is not on yet, but when i turn the car on it stays on but as soon as i start driving the car it turns offs, can someone please help, could it be that on my old dials the red part was larger than the red part on my new dials.

Yes this is normal. Mine did exactly the same thing when i upgraded my dials.
When u first start ur car it came on, then went off after a bit of driving, even tho if anything, fuel has been used.
Dont know why, just did.

when u get low yeh it normaly comes on bout just into the red
|
