How would you go about doing this with the standard plastic archs?

To get this sort of effect

noway do you just use body filler, it would crack instatly.
needs to fibreglass matt the arch and about 6 inch up the panel, then fibreglass paste over the top and finnish with filler.
its not a short process, be prepared too spend hours and hours doing each arch!!!

In the photoshop tho you've got the arches all smoothed into all the bodyshop (inc front+rear bumpers). Is that want you want to know aswell? It's extemely difficult to do the smoothing into the front and rear bumpers- I was going to get this done but then changed my mind... If your going for this option it's best to get a really good bodyshop to do it for you to be sure it won't crack later on etc etc.

smoothing the bumpers with the arches is a silly idea imo. what happens when you need to take a bumper off? you cant if they are smoother to the arch and bonded onto the wing.

best bet is to get the arches smoothed into the wings. or the arches smoothed onto the bumpers.

Sorry mate, gonna have to disagree there. The photoshop looks the tits! although id be scared to do it with fear of cracking everytime i drove it - looks great if youre going for the euro - smooyth -minimalistic look. Putting a big fuck-off wing on it afterwards wouldnt ruin it. IMO
