i was diagnosed with leukemia when i was 11 - 12 years later i found out i had ovarian cancer as well - at one point i was told if the chemo didnt take more action within three months - they were gonna quit the treatment and let me live the rest of my life (6 - 8 mos) in peace at home with my family.
i cant even put into words how i felt - i was gutted to say the least - everytime i thought about it made me wanna just give up hope and croak right then and there.
but i got lucky and chemo worked and i had biopsys done to remove cysts and tumors and here i am today.

Well good to hear it's not you sorry to hear it was a close friend of yours. He may well have been, but we all have to go at some point, some very cruel but sooner than others, life is a roller coaster you never know whats coming

well whats worse is the fact that they diagnosed him with stomach ulcers at first (3 years ago) but by the time they'd realised their fuck up, the cancer spread from his bowels, spleen and pancreas, it was only 2months after he found out that he died (march this year)
im weird, i'll just sit and think about random stuff like this at times

Yeay for Jambo's Chic that's so good to hear that these things do work, and its not all doom and gloom. You must be a strong person to go through all that.

gees some bad stories here. you just don't think young people get cancer do you? well i don't anyway. Guess this has brought it home to us all. Venom - sorry to hear that mate. Jambos - well done for beating it. It brings everything into perspective. Like for most of us the biggets problem we have to overcome is paying rent or doing exams.
