Hey Guys,

I have a m8 who owns a vectra. He's having problems with his central locking system. When the key does work, only one door is opened. Recently tho, The Key/remote does not work and therefore he has to use the key to gain access to his car.

Any helpful ideas on what he can do? Do you think it is a central locking unit prob? and if not, does anyone know if there is a vectra forum???

i know it may sound patronising but have u tried new battery

also sometimes the remote can go out of syncronisation. tell him to put the key in ignition turn it so the dash lights come on and then press the lock button on his fob. the car should lock then unlock and this will reprogramme it and maybe rectifiy the problem
