yes all the france squad wasnt upto much, i was surprised rooney came off, and ledley king had an ace game, if anyone knew anything about football they'd admit the free kick was a belter and pure skill. but the penalty incident was a bit of a James/Gerrard toss up.

Personally i think James couldnt really do much else, he had to go to the ball, but gerrard shouldnt have put him in that position

nath i agree, as im half english i wished england to win, this thread was just a jokey one to attract a few tempers, which is fun

i strongly disagree with the rooney substitution though, no way should he have come off, he earnt the fooking penalty for sugarboy to hit at barthez for crying out loud
