Got my modem and that through the post this morning..Probably won't be live for another 5 days or that...
My question is about the 'microfilters'
Are these what make it possible for you to be on phone and net at the same time???
You need to plug the micro filter into the socket that a phone/ sat receiver etc connects too...Now for me in living room that is way across other side of room....got extension cables round room...
Phone line:
comes in and splits off. goes into satelite receiver then to a double plug for phone and extension going round to pc..
does the filter HAVE to be plugged in where it splits off to phone line and sat rec???? .Then does the cable for modem HAVE to be plugged in there......????
Gonna be a pain in the arse moving all the pc etc.
some advice please peeps......
thanks
mav...

youll have an adapter that takes phone and modem. That can go directly into filter or extension.
