i said i can hear it, not hear what it is saying.

when i pull up the handbrake i can hear the cable making a noise....

wot like a squeek? or a grind?
might be the handbrake thingys on the rear drums need freein up
or is the noise comin from the actual handle?

means its probably gonna need changing soon,
if you hear it when you pull handbrake up its probably the main handbrake cable,
if you hear it after you have pulled the handbrake up its more than likely the short cable
