my mate,tried fittin my bucket seats today,whilst double checking the pipes underneath etc,guess what?

yeh u guess it...he drilled through and hit my petrol pipe....petrol started pouring out for around 5 hours.

can someone give me a rough price as to how much this may cost to sort?

You need 2 jubilee clips and section of rubber pipe. Halfords about a 5er, cheapere everywhere else.

so.... - i think its the middle rubber pipe isn't it? is this a job for a mechanic then?

how would u join the pipe?

You cut the blue pipe about 2 inches apart, join it up with rubber pipe and clamp it down gently with jubilee clips. Not hard but you may want to check on it every once and a while in case the rubber splits.
