Is it just a case of undoing the clamp popping it off the rubbers and pulling apart, then the above in reverse

yup.. mine took ages to get off.. just use wd40 and elbow grease..

then yes the reverse to put back on.

spray it on and then leave for 10 mins spray some more on eand leave it again.. then pull..
