i have been struggling for years to come up with a cream cake box that keeps the cake stable and does not cause any cream to leave the cake and coat the inside of the box

and my great uncles son invented the plastic security cases that cds are protected by in shops. the ones that cover the whole case and have a grey plastic piece on them

my cream cake box would be the mother of all inventions

spent many a night wondering about it over a few beers and trying to construct a large scale replica from an old tv box and some string and a paper plate

Well whatever your idea why don't you see what companies deal with the manufacture/production of similar things/areas in the UK and take it from there. But if it's a good idea be careful that they don't steal it- so patenting or copywriting should be taken into consideration, but they're both expensive...
