anyone ever done this?

Me and Rob are finally gonna do the bathroom in our house and have decided we want speakers sunk into the ceiling! Anyone ever done this?

set up the hi-fi/stereo - run the speaker wires either in or up the wall...then jigsaw out the speaker shapes and whack em in - use screws or omehting and connect up!

OR

you could get some speaker grilles and place the speakers behing them so that they look more stylish?!

if u put speakers in the ceiling of your bathroom won't the rising condensation damage/destroy the speakers?

Bose do some that are meant for bathrooms, boats etc and can handle damn "slight" spray

nah, you can buy ceiling speakers specially for bathrooms! seen some on ebay for £20

alot of companies do marine speakers this is what u need
my bf is a plumber he said dont put them above showers or baths if u can help it

did it in my old house, and just routed wires into ceiling before it was artexed and they ran to the hifi in the front room

you can get special speakers and housings
you local maccies ahs them built into the ceiling

Leni my dads just done this, its unreal !

Also got little lights in the ceiling that change colour, flat screen tv that comes out the wall and a massive jacquzzi !

Garden speakers would work also, probably a lot cheaper too
