i have just fitted a set of g-max 40 mm lowering springs and a set of uprated gas shocks to my car , front suspension is now VERY stiff , bad enough to make my cd player jump over the slightest bumps

have i done sommat wrong or is this normal ?

you've uprated
they will be stiff

mine does the same,bit of a bugger when your driving about somewhere with loads of speed bumps

Gmax is particularly stiff, its cheap and nasty IMO...

If G-Max are cheap and nasty , what springs can you recommend ? on a tight budget (as always)

its the shocks which makes it bumpy, not the springs.

shocks i got off ebay , Delco are the makers , probably as shite as the springs i guess , wish i knew about thisplace before i spent my money
