neon
The start of the ikkle Smart Car neon being fitted with neon is here.
Thanks to Phil at Ripspeed at Halfords for the free fitting of the power cap
all nicely fiited to a board and with 2x 4 output distributer block.. inc a negitive block too. kool thick power wire goes to a 60amp trip switch fuse in the footwell then power wire goes off to the battery which is under the passenger side footwell anyway.
5mm EL blue wire was placed round the front dash and i also fitted one of those Varad windscreen scanners too. Cr@p pic as i was loosing light!!
spent the rest of the evening fitting 2x12" Cathode/Neons under the dash (cathode with 32000 cd/m2 output for extra brightness )
also fitted 2x6" cathode/neon under the seats.. useda mix of Blue to the front of the seats and Red to the sides. this really lights up the Power Cap and Front foot wells really good. As you can see from the pic.. with all the tools in the wells.. it looks very bright. Just got to be careful not to smash the cathode tubes with mi foot LOL
all neons/led etc avaaible at www.neoquip.com .... discounts for Cs members too

Its a bugga to get a neon kit (Glow Job in a Box is far tooo big for the Smart)
Might have to look at other lines of under car lighting.
Maybe a Varda 1000 colour change Flat Tube LED kit. (can do very good price on those for CC members BTW) lol
I'll add bits when i have 5mins... needed the under seat lighting for last weekend.. as it was the Smart Fest at Billing.
Also.. anyone wanting www.tireflares.com I can do two sets on special offer at the mo.. £15 (this will be enough to do your car) as I have a few sets left over from Smart Fest.. where they sold like hot cakes
