wot about in the fuel cap?
never seen it done before...and its hidden
or you could put it on your scuttle panel.....i will just look like a little cover on ther also....and never seen that done before
me personally would have it in the fuel cap .... so ya av to open the fuel cap filler and the buttons inside.......

but if someone wants to get in the passenger side they have to walk round to fuel cap i think scuttle is best ill see wot i can make , either roof or skuttle either way its guna get wet

I sell umm here - their heavy duty ones designed for this kinda thing. A normal solenoid wouldnt last more than a couple months

The advantage of having a solenoid and a buton to get in (like on the mirrors) is if a relay or fuse dies on the remote locknig thing or the alarm. Tis also a good idea to link that up straight to the solenoid on the door bypassing anything like relays that can give up and die on u. If you want to get paronoid fit a door pop on all of them boot and 2 doors, run a wire to the terminals of the battery which u can jump from the outside of your car and your always gonna be able to get into the car without smashing any windows.

i have gone to get some swiches for mine today that light up blue so that when i disarm my alarm the swich under the mirror lights up blue so u can c it. at the mo im stil popping my doors of my remote fob
