im thinking about gettin my head ported and gas flowed, but i just wanna know a few things first. 1. roughly wat would the labour charge be for striping down to the head, rebuilding and setting up the timing? 2. what sort of price would it be to do the porting and gas flowing?, 3. who would people recomend to do the porting and gas flowing. and 4 wat sort of power increase can i expect?
any comments welcome

500'ish for head work (from a known machinist.... Bill Blystein (sp) for example)
then think headgasket/timing belt change costs for the labour on stripping head off etc

power increase on a std engine - minimal....
will just help the engine breathe better and help gain more power when further engine mods are done...
say 4-5bhp on a std engine

make sure the manifolds are matched to the ports
