what im gettin at is im only mates with the girls i fancy really or wanna get with etc...
yea there r a few exceptions ive got some only a few close girl mates....these i get very protective of.
girls im mates with just cos i fancy em im not that fussy with.
just wondered if all blokes r the same?

I put more effort into becoming friends with girls that I'm attracted to... but most likely because I want something to come out of it.
However, girls that I wern't initially attracted to that are good mates, I tend to start possibly attracting as I really like them as a person...
Basically I think men are horny as fuck and want to fuck anything in a skirt (except scottish men and nadia's)

my best friend is a bird, been mates for 12 years but she's 4 years younger than me, so i tend to look out for her more than she does for me, but instead of doing what girls do and rebelling she appreciates it

nah not at all, some got lasses, couple engaged, jst non of us see eachother inthat way, we are close mates will hug, dance, kiss(not snog, jst pecks etc), but know theres nowt behind it

my g/f was a good mate b4 i got with her, was mates for 4 or 5 years n then i heard she fancied me from one of her girl mates so i made a move on it coz i fancied her too

this is what normally happens with me, mates etc for a while first, i cant jst go out in a bar and ask someoen out, prefer to know them better before hand, but guess thats jst me

ive got bout 60% male and 40% female mates, of which a handfull are my "BEST" mates, of which two are girls, ive fancied both of them at a certain point in the 3 years ive known them...yet nothing has happend between us got really close with both but thats it.....
from my experience, the closer you get....it can go three ways...
1) u just become much closer freinds and thats it! even if "you" or "she/he" wanted more!
2) you end up liking each other more than freinds and "maybe" get together
3) as time goes on, your crush on them can wear of and will just settle as friends...

about 80% of my friends are male, one im really colse 2, i try to kid myself that i only want to be mates wiv him but deep down i would be gutted if he got wiv a girl. Anyone else in this situation ???
