Threaded the floor

Fitting my new passenger seat. 2nd bolt (that goes INTO the rail) Is fooked. As is the floor.

How do i secure the seat now? Im REALLY not into DIY or toolsso i have very limited knolledge so can someone help?
Ive been told to use bolts. But as silly as it sounds ive no idea how and where

stick a bolt thru the rail and floor with a big ass washer and nut under the car maybe

Fill the hole and put another thread on it.

Don't know the procedure but its not difficult with a welder and the right tools.

if your going to weld and re-thread mate you will need to get your hands on a tap and dye set!

I would say this will be easier and quicker though:

yer tap and die set from Halfords about 9.99 i think???

Anyway its basicully a bolt that gives a hole a thread, then u can use a bolt the same size as the tap and ur away!

Should be able to just re tap the internal thread (One in floor) and die nut the bolt. Make sure you have the correct sized tap and dies as they can be very decieving.GGGRRR.

Take it to a garage if your not sure. Last thing you want to do is fcuk it up anymore.
