driver side is fine, no marks whatsoever, perfect in fact.
However passenger side has a small white strip (between the two strips of glue) that is slightly visible in certain light. It doesnt even span the whole of the door, just the middle of it. How can i get rid of this?
Rear quarter is fine as well (strip was on there as well) no marks at all.

bug and tar remover, any kind and alot of hard rubbing with a cloth, then t-cut it and polish with buffer up and should be fine, i did mine

tried some super-8 polish, didnt have much of an effect though.
Will try some tar remover followed by t-cut tomorrow

I tried all ways to get rid of that mark. end result is its booked in to get sprayed tommorow!

sh1t! lucky for me it's not that noticeable... hope i dont have to get it resprayed....

you lot are lucky, ive got a flame red car, so when its not been cleaned or polished you can still see where the strips were

mine's silver which is why i guess it's not that bad... hopefully some of the methods above will get rid of it.
Just not sure why i've got the strip on only half the door?

Think it because I didnt heat that side with hair dryer. just pulled it off.

not heated it up enough, or they glued that part on too much, many reasons for it.

or its been resprayed, ive got a slight white mark down on of my doors. its fine on the rear quater.

my cars arden blue, it visible but only when ive just washed it. im gunna have to get it sprayed. thought about colourcoding the strip and putting them back on, but i love it without them on. should only be £100 or so to ort the door out

try a rubbing compound from halfords...like a gritty but non abrasive polish

depends how much it bugs me i guess, i'll try every single kind of polish and remover before taking it to get it sprayed.

hmm, not good then, t-cut got my boot hatch good on my 93 sri when i debadged it, and that was a major colour difference and gum marks

rub like hell mate, took a 3hr sesh to get a pink boot to red again, using t-cut then colour restorer... also work on a smaller bit if u can
