after my first attempt at filling in some holes on the interior and wanting to smooth them over, its gone horribly wrong. i thought filler primer would be enough to go over the foam and then sand down but now the foam has gone soft on the top and i canna sand it. so what are my options, start over and get a guide on how to do it or try and rectify it (its in a bad way )

well you can tell its dry on top, i think its because i have been tryin to build up the primer on the whole door and its probably not soaked in. but also im wanting to know whats the best way of smoothing the foam over as it looks shit.

oh rite, well, i would have put fiberglas ontop, but yeah you should be able to just sand it back. mite be the paint/filler reacting with the foam. would depend on what foam you use.

well on the back of the can it says you can sand, prime, paint over the top, if i were to get fibre glasing over the top of it now, what would i need, i think halfords do a kit or something. also i havnt got a barnet on where to start tho.
