if you ported polished and gas flowed a head
fitted a decent cam
and fitted carb's t'b's
what bhp increase would you expect?
20 bhp? ish or more

on a 1.4 ur looking aut up to 40 but it will cost u more than a engine change

as a guide you should easily be able to get 100bhp per litre with that sort of work.
