Right i've been in this job for about 3 months now! My manager at the time left after about 2 weeks of me starting! I work with one other person but she is based miles away and i cant afford to pay out petrol to work from there everyday!
Problem is there is this guy in our office who thinks he owns me cos of "TITLE" he thinks he is part of our dept! But this guy is such a creep, he calls me sweetheart and darling and touches my shoulder when he wants something do! He is such a perv and he is about 50!!
Anyway i've been complaining that i wanna move out of this office cos its crowded anyway, been complaining for past 4 weeks!! 
Soooo spoke to this guys ex line manager she told me to go to the new line manager and say "work 2/3 days based at other office and rest from home, if he disagrees say your going on sick with depression" (i'm getting there), just been and spoke to new line manager and said i have to wait until a new manager comes in which so happens to be the other person from other office and she knows how i feel and that it is against policy rules to work from home! 
I really dont know what to do! HELP!!!
Its getting me soooo down!!!

what happens when u get your payrise? promotion? would you be at the same level as him then??

or tell the guy hes not your maganger and if he touches you again you will have him done for sexual harssment.

I feel the same way in my job... cos I'm just a scale 1/2 IT Support Assistant people think they are my boss and they can tell me what to do... my line manager is useless she has no idea about IT at all... she is a library manager for god sake... people just come up to me and tell me what to do and when I should be doing it, I've started doing my own thing now though, only thing is I'm getting so pissed off with the job and the people around me I've started to not care... and such a poor wage... hardly any wonder why people get like this...
All I can surgest is do what your paid to do... anything else you should say sorry it's not for me to do... that way they are not taking advantage of you and you are not gonna get over worked...
Start looking for a new job, then if you don't get in to this one you can get out!
