To get 100 bhp you would need to use full system, revised air feed and airbox setup, replacement of the inlet with something like Dbilas and then setting up with Unichip etc.

I do firmly belive though the std figure of 75 bhp is more like 80-82 and was downrated to stop it being near the rather under achieving 89 bhp 1.4 unit.

40 bhp transmission loss then, even an old mini with a shagged gearbox rarely gets more than 25% losses.

So 101 bhp is nonsense.

Also 61.4 at wheels ? 0.4 of a bhp is not tangible to be quoted, different power runs would present different power figures and a dyno is crude.

yeah i know he was told 40 lost to transmission but it should be around 20-25% which would make it about right.

Dont go to AVA lol

ah right...

Hmm... anyone know what resistor it is or where it goes?

Just My Air Flow Meter is being a bitch and is about to die... At the moment its going up and down with the torque curve and if you boot it, it'll accelerate, then lift off a bit, then accelerate harder, then not so hard... etc... As it's fluctuating what 'temperature' it thinks the air is...

However, am I right the resistor just by passes the AFM piece of crap so that it constantly is seen as being relatively cold?

Could be a quick fix until I get a new AFM ?
