Apart from a chip and conversion wot can i do ?

no its 0-60 in 1 day where as 1.2 8v is 4 days

its quite nippy engine actually had over 110 in it with standard wheels now its lowered and i got ice and 16s i can bearly get past 100 ! its terrible i need speed for motorways

certainly is... not sure how you'd go about, not sure how the engines differ exactly... full engine wud go for pennys tho, and loads quicker than a normal spi 8v thingy

SRi 8v is MPi LS is SPi,and i agree 70 is the limit m8, ONLY 100 is a bit of a dumb thing to say...

Adi shud know as he's got an SRi, I did think they were mpi thats why they are nippier than other 1.4 corsa's!! SRi's wudda been so much better with 16v's tho!

A debat thats been goin on a while on here

and i didnt mean that sris were spi, i referred to spi 1.4's as "normal"

wudn't be easier and cheaper to drop in a cavalier/astra 1.6 or 1.8 spi 8v? at 82/115bhp better that a 59bhp 1.4?

its a crap engine..... face it....

the MPI version is ok, but SPI no way...

Stick a carb on, whack up the fueling... headwork etc would be the way to go.... BUT it would be cheaper to just put a c/x16xe in
