Yeah i know but im gonna be down sorting this out, i had planned to go too.

Bigger fish to fry but ill be there next year in my new toy.

This is a 1960 Walkthrough and im planning on getting a 1960 beetle too and maybe a Karmann Ghia - its all gona total 20k but im not looking at having them all for another few years yet...

Im buying this at around 6k with a new freeway flyer gearbox (higher top ratio for higher cruising speeds) and a recently reconned engine in it. Its a US import so its 95% dry, got a 50p size hole in the floor to fix mind you and a bit of tidying. Going to sort some big ICE out in it and a bed. Its already lowered with straight axles in it so thats on less job to worry about. Should be working on it all winter so its going to be debuting next year in its spanking form......

What ya' mean? If you mean the paintwork its gonna have a blowover and a coat of laquer.

Cheers for the comments people, i know its not to everyones taste but it is 44 years old after all. Old VW's are something ive come to grow and love so its nice people appreciate that
