this is what i need to undo the top mounts on the front suspension yeah? any1 have any ideaa where i can find one, cant find anywhere that has an 18mm one.

i got a set of these spanners.....every normal spanner you could need......they wiegh quite a bit tho....especially carrying long distances

i have a set of these spanners, a set of sockets, a set of screw drivers a trolly jack and oh ummmmmm an umbrella in the boot.

my 1.2 8v loves caryying all this weight around

i already have a spanner set, it just doesnt have this one, and dont fancy buyin a whole new set for one spanner

well your gonna spend about 10 to 20 quid on buying one spanner cos yer not gonna be able to find anywere that will have cheaply made single spanners.

Machine Mart - they are the best place to get tools. It was about £7 for the deep offset spanners, and £9 for set of normal spanners set.

18mm is the same as an imperial size, cant remember which one though

wouldnt bother fucking on with a spanner

just buy a windy gun and jobs done

(you will now ask what a windy gun is)

its an air powered ratchet (hense windy) (also available in 240v or 12v)

that would just turn the whole shaft though wouldn't it?

idea of using a swan neck spanner over a socket is because the piston rod needs counterholding.


i got a set of 5 draper ones from a motor factors for around £7

nope - the 'torque' of it just whips off the nut - did for both mine anyway

it dont just spin it - its like a quick kick - and just spins the nut off
