As soon as all my new gear arrives i'm gonna start building my ICE install. I'm embeding the sub-box into the spare wheel well so that the top of the sub sits flush with the false floor. Therefore it would be best to use a cylindrical shaped sub enclosure - which has to be 1 cubic foot in volume for my sub. It's 12" JBL at the moment, gonna be running about 400w. I was just wondering how thick the fibreglass would need to be to avoid it cracking and bursting once it is all fitted? If anyone on here has ever built themselves a fibreglass sub-enclosure before.....

Ah no, not anther fibreglass install...

At a guess I'd say 4-6 layers of matting will do the job nicely.

No, not another fibreglass install... Just need a fibreglass sub enclosure so that I can fit it in the spare wheel well... The rest will be... Top secret
