im gonna be selling my gsi and get something newer, more comfortable, and cheaper to run so i can pay my huge debts off. what is the best model corsa c to buy? i want a 1 year old or two year old one that has full electrics ( power steering abs air con elec windows etc) and nice interior. whats the best model availible? biggest engine size i will go for is 1.4 as i want my insurance, tax and petrol cost to drop. i dont mind a 1.2 16v but anything smaller will just do my head in. any help appreciated!

I like mine. Went from a 1.2 8v B to this, and its obviously miles quicker.
Insurance for me is reasonable. Cost me an extra £100 for 9 months @ 18 1yr NCB. Gonna cost me £800 is FC 2Yr NCB 19 come Oct.
Handles well imo for a standard car, loads of grip there and predictable when you push it hard. Rides quite firm, but it doesnt bother me.
Tax is a bit of a bastard. £79.50 for 6 months, or £135 for 12 months.
Bit noisy on the motorway really, as it sits at 4k @ 80mph.
Not too bad on fuel, usually get around 80 miile to £10 (fuel light to fuel light). Just done a run to newquay, and got 275 mile to a tank, that was 250 mile motorway cruising at 70, and the rest round town.
Payed 7k for mine 6 months ago and it was 13 months old, 8800 mile.

I'd go for the Exclusiv if I was looking to buy a Corsa C.

how long can you live with a corsa.

Yes, Robbo is correct. My SXi used to manage 100 miles to a tenner and that was on 17's.
