i was just wonderin if there is way of gettin a flashing light in ma car, and getting it to turn off when the cars on. i've got a clifford bulb thing to hook some wiring up to. i will be gettin an alarm soon, i just want this done quick as im going on holiday, n there r lots of theivin sods about
Does anyone know if its possible to maybe have a live wire, a resistor and use the RCA lead? just so when the cars not on, there wont be 2 positives, as the RCA will turn into a ground for the live wire? or am i barkin up the wrong tree entirely... If anyone has any other way of doin it, please let us know.

RCA lead, to your HU ?!?!

wack at a close-circuit (think there the ones, basically, closed when no power goes through) relay from your ignition, and wire the LED to the relay - then when you switch the car on, led should go out.

However, wait til someone says something, as im not 100% sure on it eitherway, you dont want to be grounding anything with your HU RCAs!!!

Just wire the ground of the LED to an ignition live as these go to ground when the igntion switches off. Give the LED a permanent live though.

It works with pretty much anything that needs a negative trigger like a pager or something.

What other thing would you like to use?
