Interesting to see what other people get payed without naming names. Would think most people in the £5 bracket work for a supermarket/shop etc, or are training in a better job .

Cool. I have just started in Industry after Uni.
Originally the plan was PWC to do ACA but I had a change of heart after an internship last summer which was very boring.
Industry much better. Doing CIMA now 
Qualify here while someone is paying for all my tuition, books, exams and giving me time off etc then move into management consultancy with Accenture or similar.
Pay is good too

We have PwC out at the mo...ha ha they earn shite wages at their level That said my friend whoworks for PwC in Cardiff does ACA and gets a few weeks off at a timetostudy :S I do home study

Yes, 12 weeks off in practice. PwC wages are quite poor but its shit hot on your CV. Walk into most jobs.
I get a 7 working days off per exam Doing first two intermediate in Nov. Got exempt from Foundation due to degree.
Nice payrise for passing each exam too

until september: £6.29p/h
over a whole year, because i dont get paid evenly, i.e. less when im at college, it works out to be £3.55 p/h
