Just taken the rub strip of one side of car and after rubbing off that white residue the paint is faded where the strip was, so will t-cutting it get rid of this? the car is glacier white, or should i polish or wax it?

From what i have gathered if u t-cut it it will take match up the paints for a while but the paint will eventually fade back. U just got to keep t-cutting it to keep them the same.

Is taking the the side strips off easy? My corsa is Kingfisher blue. I was just going to take them off and then use a machine buffer thing on it to get rid if the glue. This is what I did on my boot and it was fine.

use a power polisher and some cutting compound, (dont press to hard tho!) that will get it sorted no worries, mine were well bad and even had a laquer line where someone had sprayed upto the rubstrip,
5 mins with that beauty and it was sorted

My side strips come off easy. Just stuck on by the same stuff as the badges at the back. It's a knightmare getting the rest of the adhesive off the door though, but worth it.
