Hello there!

I have heard of two incidents that have been tributed to the "Wehrwolf" project.

1. April 22 1945 two US soldiers serving as medical corps men somewhere outside the former resistans pocket in the area around Köln where shot by unknown suspects. Their jeep was torched and their weapons stolen. This was believed to have been an attack by "Wherwolf" resistans fighters, but no one knows for sure.

2. May 14 1945 a British artillery leutenant was knifed in an alley in Hamburg. A message was painted on a brick wall next to the corps, that stated something like "Wir kapitulieren nie", but information on this is also quite sketchy.

I hope this is of help, even though it might as well have been just simple robberies turned bad!

SetH, remember the war ended on May 8th 1945, Werwolf (Former SS and Hitler Youth soliders that had resorted to guerilla tactics) after wars end continued to fight until some say 1957!!

It is true, the bloke that posted it was a SS soldier who was actually there.

He was sent to a American POW camp after the war.

Non, I believe he settled there after being let out of the camp.

He was'nt part of the killing squads, just a soldier doing his duty.
