Way i see it ovens get up to 220 degress + so....

well when i put it in my oven over food that i cook at 200 degrees its fine, and you can touch it soon after as its cool again, y?

yes it will but what are you planning to use it for? you prob wont get it hot enough to melt, although when i used cheap stuff on a BBQ it burnt through it!

what ya wack in an oven is alu foil and if you read about it, it melts at around 660c...although i believe alu cooking foil isnt pure aluminium, so obviously it could be higher or lower

Tin foil is not made of tin, its aluminium, hence its melting point is like 6/700°C. Not a cause for concern in a household oven.
