Just seen this on aussie news, so flicked over to BBC World and Sky News UK and been watching it. See those cars being swept out to sea

The worst of it happened yesterday, it must have been pretty frightning getting caught in the middle of it, my mum is supposed to be goin there for a weeks break, looks like she wont be now.

yeah those rescue helicopter crews are fucking heros. There was one bit on the news where the rear prop was about 1 inch from a TV aerial, and he still managed to rescue someone!! Pure skill and bravery.

some of the survivors were saying that they went to the front of the house to see what was happeneing, looked behind and within 3-5 minutes the water was 3 feet high!! scary scary stuff! Its raining here properly for the first time in 3 months, so we love the rain!!!! Over 50 cars now live in the harbour

Yeah right near the harbour was worst, the 10ft spoken of was 10ft deeper than the worst flood at this place so it could have been deeper still.

hmm.... I'm guessing there's probably small print which protects them from natural disasters which they'd probably try and fob you off with

I used to work for more than and one of their policies were that your car is not covered against terrorism.

Probably some clause like that to get them out of paying!

My home insurance has just been re-newed and it says on the front page in large letters: Terrorism This insurance does not cover any loss, damage,liability, cost or expense of any kind or indirectlycaused by, resulting from or in connection with any act of terrorism. What the hell is going to happen?
