Know somone who had a EVO 6 tuned up to about 300bhp and then bought an EVO 7 FQ 300/320 or whatever it was then went and bought a V6 and said that he reackoned it was faster than his EVOS!

It was a brand new one so the uprated version!

He sold it within a couple of months though, nothing wrong with it he just wanted a TVR so went and bought a brand new one!

Cheeky I can see it I think .... not off the mark as quick... however the v6 I think will pull very well after 100mph, evo's arent best after 100mph

The V6 does look mean and the updated version is now allegedly sub-6 to 60, but an Evo is a far superior car...

The guy i know smash the drivers fornt side in about 2 weeks afer he had it!

It was £2k s worth of damage!

A front arch inner arch just flimsy plastic one like a corsa £234

They got a bolt for somethin it was about 30-40 mm long and 10mm thread and it was £34 for a bolt

It was quick though and they handle fantastic ive been told!

They had the bonnet up and i took the little cuby hole thing out and there underneath was th ebeutiful aluminium spaceframe

Just sounds like the comment of someone who thinks that a car's not a proper car when it uses electronics to make it handle better...

It's like saying traction control doesn't help you pull away faster.

Out of the two i would go for the V6 orver teh Evo 7 , purley because i dispise the look of all evo's after 6 , they now look like family saloons and do not have that rally look at all,

how ever if it was an Evo 4/5 & 6 then without a doubt i would have choose the jap beast

Clio V6 mk1 isnt that much faster than the 172.
Read article about it in used car buyer figures arnt that great, obviously a different driving experience.

But mk2 is meant to be proper bo and quic kas you like. It may seem strange to pic kthe clio, but then, if you picked anything else as another option it would always seem odd as clio is in a class of its own

LOL my dad had a Evo 6 for a good while, was the fastest car for acceleratingand cornering i have ever been in.

A clio may FEEL faster as its much smaller/noisier, but in realiyty an evo would destroy one. I personally love the look of Evo's and dream to one day be able to afford a Ralliart Evo 6 Extreme

More typical shit coming over from scooby people an evo's handeling is far more direct than an Impreza and ide hapily take any corner in a evo faster than ide dare attempt in any impreza due to YAW and a just a better 4wheel drive system and weight distribution

Biggest load of shit ive heard, Mine pulls like fuck up to 150 untill reser clicks in

Overall ude aviod the Evo 7 purely because it was never sold under UK spec, Only jap imports which mean mega insurance, A wank fuel capacity, And many other defects, The evo 7 is the worst evo produced by a condiserable margin, People should just put the extra 2k in and pick up an FQ 300 Evo VIII or something
