What do I need to take to the post office to get tax?

insurance certificate and mot..

might have to take your sorn docs down 2.

You have to fill in a form at the post office with the MOT and insurance certs with you. Think you may need to fill in when the car was SORN if you know it.

Ahh I did have a form that they sent me when my car was declared SORN but I seem to have misplaced it in the move.

But I suppose I could still get tax with just my insurance certifcate and MOT certifcate as they won't know the car was SORN.

You NEED

V5, or tax renewel (but with SORN i doubt you'd have that), Insurance, and MOT

You do NOT need a doc saying it was sorn'd. The person should ask you why its not been taxed, where it was kept etc etc.....

I have no idea when it was last taxed, Feb 04 I believe.

As the car was in Rachels name I have sent registration doc off to get it changed to my name, I have green slip though. This is good enough I believe?
