just wired the boot solinoid up in the dark!!! to the rear wiper stalk. got a prob tho. when i put my rear wiper on it makes the solinoid move but only opens the boot so that it wobbles if you know what i mean, still locked in the catch. ive tried taking the solinoid back further but then the boot dont lock into place when shut. WTF do you do???

now got the boot to open, but when i go to shut it, it dont shut properly. it onyl half locks so its wobbling again. how the feck do you do this???

Basically you have to keep the solenoid active, go pull the boot open, then og switch it off. If it doesnt catch when you deactivate it, you neeed to readjust as its not releasing the rod back far enough.

Its all trial and error.

can anyone tell me what wire i need to cut out of my right stalk that controls the rear wiper? want to connect that wire to a button.

What colour wire did you use to activate the solenoid?

then cut into the blue wire on the stalk, or cut into it on the loom on the passenger side.

ive hooked my switch to the blue one then to ground and it dont work.

did you give the switch a permanent live though?
