driving allong yesterday heard a hissing from the engine, pulled over with steam coming out from under the bonnet. the hose that goes from the radiator to the engine has split and squirted water everywhere in the engine bay

anyone know how much a new one is? or even better has anyone changed to silicon hoses and got their old one lying about??

Shouldnt be more than a few quid, and is very easy to change yourself cos its so accessable.
