yes the fur is very soft
we wanted chipmunks but they are not as easy to handle and need more space. we can give him the run of house kus he isnt as mental as chipmunks, he is very cheeky though

we normally both go into the other bedroom to let her out, if one of us doesnt go in, she sits and scratches at the door til the other one comes in, then she leaps around jumps all over us, once she is done she just wanders back into the cage. Tis soooooo cute

once i have my own place, i wish to get a white one too, cant get one now though as white and grey chinchillas is not a good mix, have been warned by lots of other owners that they will fight to death

yeah they do not get along at all. White ones are expensive but well worth it, dont think i could handle breeding them though. We got ours from my gf's stepmums daughter. 2 weeks after we picked her up, mother was pregnant again
