Wont be an issue if you have a late c20xe with DISpack, but i'm just curious to see where you've got the coil..
with the abs unit and the power steering resevoir both in the sort of area you'd want the coil to go, i can't really see a sensible place to put it where it's not going to be in the way of something, but still close enoughh to the dizzy for the main ht lead to reach.
cheers

wicked thread that....... not very usefull though.
only one i see has a relocated battery.
may end up with it in the wheel well, but don't want it like that for now.

bit the bullet and ordered proper hubs from cossvaux on friday. i should be on the road by the end of this week.
didn't fancy having to get new hubs for the cally/astra then risk machining again, because i wasn't overly confident on how far to go.
vr6 bearings still need the hubs machined, and i didn't fancy machining the carrier to fit the HH bearings which are probably well expensive anyway.
£80 each on the hubs, but at least i know they'll work, and i kinda need the car back on the road.

my clifford siren is on the turret there where your coil is.
pretty tight for space in mine.
tidy job though. mines a mess at the moment compared to that.

i've got the calibra 16v cable.
comes over the air trunking, down to about the bottom of the plug cover, then up to the throttle.
somewhere between 1/2 and 2/3rds as long as whatever you have i would say.

that sounds like a good option. i looked at that briefly but was concerned about space for the clutch cable and arm. will scope it out better tonight.
any pics of your setup dean?
