and Shelly, 200mph winds are rather optimistic, with this cat5, its more like 170mph, especially with the barometric pressure thats now showing. Gonna be a top 10 most destructive/powerful though because its slowed right down in tracking.

Sustained wind speeds are 160mph, which is no way near record breaking... yet, but as it hits land, it will lose its strength so i doubt it will increase in strength. 920mb pressure though Lowest ever pressure registered was in Typhoon Tip, the worlds worst cyclone on record, descended to 870mb and sustained wind speeds of 213mph
other cool fact, 5678mm of rain was dumped on Commerson, La Reunion Island in 1980 in 10 days, thats 5.5 metres of rain!!!
The storm of 1987 in SE England descended to a minimum of 953mb in comparison with these hurricanes.
