When im 21 want somthing faster and just want a change.

Theres a couple i wouldnt mind such as

- clio 172 cup ( but might be a killer on insurance)
- Ibiza cupra (lovely but another insurance killer)

Whats the 206 gti like? Dont hear many people talk about it on here?
Specs are :- 136mph, 8 secs to 60... Ok its not the fastest 2litre car in the world but is it a good drive? good handling? Nice interior? realiable? Running costs? servicing?

Seen a couple of 2000/01 gti's with 40k on the clock for £5000 so in just over a year there should be some around the £3500-4500 mark

Does anyone have any pics of the interior cant find nothing!

yes very gash, the 180bhp version has nice seats tho,

i would go for ibiza cupra everytime

LOL straight to the point I havent alot about them on these boards so i dunno?

What sort of car should i be looking at then in a year or 2 time with more poke in it than my little 1.2 16v for around the £3000-5000 mark? BTW no 106 gti's. love the exterior, interior is disgusting and i need a realiable car. Also dont want to be paying more than £1500+ in insurance so IG 15 AT most!!

I would love to have an ibiza cupra, if i can get decent quotes £1200ish for a 21 year old ill buy one but cant see that happening!

May have to go for a 1.6 16v car. 206 xsi's?

I know shocking aint it.

This 206 GTi was suppose to be the replacement for the legend that was the 205gti the king of hot hatches and its quite slow, infact most places are quoting 8.5 secs to 60mph ! How crap is that standard corsa gsi's will give that a spanking! lol

I like astras, wouldnt get a 5 door mind. 3 door sport/sri will do nicely in silver!
