last week had an excellent insurance qoute off adrian flux for a valver, so rang up yesterday to ask where is the hard copy of the details, and they go, "oh sorry we have no details of u on our system!!" so wanted to get another qoute, and it was well over 2k. now got to cancel all prts for the valver!
any1 know of any other insurance companies out there which wil insure me? im under my dads name.
thinking of taking that advanced driving test thing, its meant to bring ur insurance right down!
so not good day atm

Pass Plus only cost me £75, and it took £600 off the insurance, worth it I thought.

same ere, it took about 50% off my insurance (as well as introductory discount). If i didn't do it i wouldn't be insuring anything bigger than a 1.0 at the moment, coming up to 1ncb and i'm looking for a 1.6 transplant from my 1.4 sport.

Cost me £80, and my insurance company gave me 1 years no claims in exchange and saved me £150 a year.
I think certain insurance companies approve more of it then others.
Well worth it imo

ADI will take a lot of your Ins but isnt that easy to pass... when I had my CTR I had an advanced driving day free with the car and the instructor was an ex-police pursuit driver and now teaches police and he said I would probly love ADI and hav a good chance butnow I dont have a quick car etc it aint worth it

Adrian Flux did this with me, when I rang up to take up the quote they said they had no record.
Went to the guy down the end of my road as his misus is in the business & she said they have to honour the quote.
So rang them up again, same story, gave them reference number & told them i'd spoken to someone that works in the business & that they have to honour my quote & hey presto insurance.

hahahah.... your paying £1049 for a group 1 insurance car! that isn't funny actually. i'm gonna be paying £700 for my 1.4 sport at 19 with 1ncb and licence for 2 yrs and no crashes etc. Gone down from the best part of £900 last yr. would have been at least £1600 without pass pluss

what i need is a new identity, i cant get any points at all untill all my current points have been wiped, because i had more than 6pts when i passed, and i dont think i can drive 'slow' for 3 years!

I wouldn't call this an advanced driving test!!!!
I am a class 1 advanced Police TPAC driver, helped quite a bit with my insurance! Bloody difficult course though!! (2 months! )
