The way the track fits together is a lot better, I had a lot of old 1980's track from my parents, and I had the old cars, but they broke. So I bought a new Impreza for it, but the track was so old and knackered it didn't work too well.

ive got this whole box full of the stuff. Got about 3 sets in there, with the old F1 cars, 911s and rally cars - like escorts
set it all up once, and it was about 20ft by 6 ft in size, was huuuuuuuuuuuugeeeee and i had tunnels and everything, was cool
Had a big straight too going into a sharp left turn...but the cars would come straight off and fly about a metre into the wall

fucking love it
always get it out over the winter and cover the loft floor with a hooj track. then get all the lads round and have a beer + scalextric night. fucking awesome fun on a cold winters night
my mate built a small rally course for his son and stuck it in his loft. well, he said it was for his son but ive never seen his son actually use it, only him

used to play on my big bros set with him all the time bout 10yrs ago, he was right good at it by mine always got de-railed!
sold it at a carboot ages ago,but my brother won a massive brand new set of it at his christmas party raffle this year, and he;s still better than me!

ove got load sof the cars but they will never run, as there worth about £100 each
FLY racing ones are the best, half the weigt and rev to 28000rpm
