As above- Is it worth getting a decat pipe?

ive got a bfo exhaust and bfo induction kit, on my 1.2sxi 16v 2003...just wondered if it was worth getting a de-cat pipe?

Its bout £50 i think

upto u really ,will be loud as fcuk! ,my mate had 1 on his megane and police impounded his car last week and if its put back on he'll be fined...

only 1 or 2 bhp, but will sound better, not sure if you can do it on a 1.2 C though, cat is in manifold aint it?

wont be loud as fuck if you get one with a silencer in it, joff has same exhaust as me and a piper de cat wit hno silencer, and its louder than mine with a silencer in it but not loud as fuck!

yes it does sound wicked, mine sounds more raspy as its got the 4-2-1 on it

i think if you wiegh up the hassle if you get stoped for it... to the gains yer gonna get.. it becomes a bit point less....

i'm having a custom cat pipe made up on saturday with another silencer in it.

1.6 was too loud with cat and two silencers, so hopefully the extra silencer may quieten mine down a little.

cant get a de-cat unless u achnge the manifold on the c!

However you can replace the centre silencer which makes it much louder and maybe release 1 or bhp on a 1.2

you will have to get a custom made manifold as the cat on a corsa c is part of the manifold.the £50 is normally for a straight through pipe just to make it louder
