ok i aint drove my car for 4 weeks and i think the battey has just died cos my alaram is beeping.... but it wont let me disarm it... if i unlocked the doors manualy will it set teh alarm off? or if i disconecteds the bett to charge it?

just open the door if it goes off open the bonnet connect backup batterey and disarm it

If the battery is flat then one of two things will happen:
1) Battery is completely flat and backup is also flat so the alarm will be dead
B) Battery is completely flat but backup has charge, so you'll get an earful of siren.
The problem is, you can't disarm it when the battery is flat...
So do either of the above and charge the battery straight away - you'll have enough charge to turn the alarm off, on, set it to valet mode or do whatever else you want it to do.
Or am I just missing your problem?

ive got in on chagre under bonnet so i can disarm it, thn will take batt out n charge it propperly

yer, just i want it on charge over night... n were i park my car i cannot do ht without tain battery out

well i had this prob with vectra i know it was factory fitted alarm but when i put keys in and turned ignition on alarm stopped
