Theres something on my corsa b when you put the car in reverse gear, then push a button in on the centre console it locks in gear, and you need a special key to unlock it. There are stickers on the windows for a 'vauxhall barrier deadlock'. does anyone know if this is anything that the insurance companies would give me a discount for having, and what category it would go under?

cheers

The thing i press in is the actual lock. It pops out when you unlock it. Ill try and get some photos tonight becasue it is hard to explain!

Right...this is a pic off autotrader, but ill try and explain from it...

On the carpet bit, underneath the gear stick is a metal circle that sticks out 15/20mm. this is a lock, that when pushed in (when the car is in reverse) locks it. When the key is back in and turned this will pop out, allowing you to get the car out of gear.

Shitty explaination, ill try and get pics of mine later!
