Fitting a valver in 2 weeks time, not sure on the details I have to give DVLA...?

What do I do with my V5 and what does it cost - how soon after conversion must they be notified of diffo engine?

Does an MOT with the old engine still count until next MOT due?

Does Tax (lower rate) still count until next tax renewal where it will have to be the higher rate?

Cheers for any advice you can give me...

So V5 needs doing straight away - do I send this away to DVLA and how much does it cost?

MOT with 1.2 still counts.

TAX is void with new engine, need to claim back whats left and take out new higher tax (bummer).

i reckon they'll bill you for any difference in cost for changing vehicle tax bracket.

doubt you have to pay to change details on V5 though. don't have to pay to change details of vehicle ownership do you?

Yup im expecting that... think its and extra £50 per year on the tax? I'll have to claim the 6months I have left back and then take out 12 months with higher rate - £16_.00?

nah. i think it'll be simpler than that.
ie. they just send you a bill for the remainder and the new disc.
so you don't have to claim back for one disc then buy outright a new one.
may be wrong though.

Wiith the tax it even says on the V5 that if you fit a larger capacity then they will bill you the difference. Amazing what you find out when you read.
