i bought one and went to my usual guy who does that, he said there not very good and had a tendancy to crack/ sink and will also make your boot allot fatter so i sent mine back, it also wasnt a very good fit

Best way to do it is to weld a steel plate over the recesses and smooth off with fibreglass and filler. Much better than the blanking plates which is why not many reputable bodyshops (who specialise in modification) use the fibreglass plates.
