Theres a lot of threads about this and as some of you know im still not happy with mine atm.
Im using FK coilovers, with standard Anti Roll Bars and no braces atm.
I know whiteline are gods, so i have been looking at there site and found this article on the barina...
Does anyone have any reccomendations about what parts to get, i get a lot of the steering wander problem which they say can be cured by setting the toe to neutral????
They also seem to reccomend the rear swaybar highly, but i have never seen a corsa with one like the one in the pictures on it...
HELP!

the best way to improve handling is to go with smaller rims mate, and i know thats not an option, but the handling of mine changed sooo much when i went from 15s to 17s

i personaly think strut braces make a hell of a lot of differnce to the way the car feels when cornering, i had a front and rear strut fitted to my corsa and the steering felt alot more precise and alot more sure footed. you should get the steering geometry setup up correctly(eg. toe n camber angles)

Yeah i know the wheels wont help ,but my wheels arent causing the unnerving bodyroll at the back end etc...
Im tempted by strut braces but wonder if the larger swaybars might do the job, stopping the rol at the back end.
Options at the mo are
1) Get Koni adjustible rear dampers and set them stiffer than current fixed rate FK jobbies
2) Get whiteline Sway bars front / rear (dunno how much work to fit the rear one tho, looks like a bitch)
3) Get front / rear strut braces.
Or any combination of the above... anyone got any idea which would be the best bet for a first call?

I'd do 3 while trying to find a place to make you up and rear sway bar. The Strut braces will help the handling and make the handling more positive. These two should be done before getting the koni rears IMO.
Or leave it as a show car and save for a new car that handles well

Coilover suspension so you can set the ride height and dampig rate - i.e. 40mm drop with firm suspension...
Uprated anti roll bars to sop body roll...
And strut braces front and rear to stop unwanted chassis flex...

cant u get different compresion rate springs for fk coilovers? im running 15's with only 60mm springs and standard dampers, the ride is really bad, i.e. slow right down for speed bumps, bad roads are really bumpy cause of the very little suspention travel. but it handles really good on good flat tarmac, almost no body roll, and it's easy to let the back slide out now and then!

you can get different rate fronts but not rears, and the fronts are ok as is, its the back end that rolls a lot and feels wrong compared to the stiff front end.
Im gonna get a price for the sway bars and see.

Compression adjustment is done with the damper if it has compression damping. Otherise you can get higher poundage springs...

Highsport coilovers dont let u change the damping rate, thus the idea of getting the Koni yellows (this was reccomended to me by FK themselves).
I still think the whiteline sway bars might be my best bet.

yes tis funny when they basically admit there coilovers rear dampers are designed for a trip to the shops, and if you want decent performancce you should buy the koni yellows lol

Its all similar amouints of cost just gotta decide which to do. Spoken to demon tweeks and..
Koni dampers £100 a pair
Whiteline front 27mm swaybar £90.20
Whiteline rear 22mm swaybar £90.20
Strut braces are going to be around £100 a pair maybe a tad more, just gotta decide now which £100 is gonna be the best improvement...
