For backup purposes...

Got some black DVDs, DVD-RW and a computer.

There is software on there already that says it will copy a dvd but i think that is only an already copied one if that makes sence.

What will i need if i wanna copy an original disk such as a DVD Movie?

2 hours "bloody hell" takes me between 20 and 35 mins for the analysis and 10 to 15 mins to burn a full dvd with all the extras

Obvoiusly a faster cpu and ram with shrink(encode) a dvd quicker but theres also the program to think about to.

The two well known compression programs is dvd shrink and dvd2one.

dvd shrink takes around 2hrs to shrink, is free to use and visual quality is quite good.

dvd2one takes around 30mins, costs money to buy and visual quality not so good compared to dvd shrink.
